Avoid Spine Surgery & Repair Your Spinal Discs With Discseel ® Procedure
Discseel Procedure is an injection based treatment that utilizes natural Fibrin glue to seal spinal discs.
Disc tears are a common cause of chronic back pain and sciatica pain. Tears can weaken the spinal discs, leading to degenerated, bulging and herniated discs.
Fibrin is a biologic glue, when injected into the outer layers of the spinal disc, it seals the disc tears and stimulates disc healing and disc regeneration.
Discseel ® Procedure is the only treatment proven to seal spinal discs and encourage disc healing.

Don’t Forget About The Rest of The Spine, Treat The Whole Spinal Unit with PRP
The spinal unit is composed of discs, facet joints, ligaments, muscles and nerves. A comprehensive treatment of all these structures can provide the best results.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a solution of concentrated platelets from the patient’s own blood. When PRP is injected into the spine and supporting structures, the cells release bioactive proteins that resolve pain and inflammation and initiate tissue regeneration.
Discseel in addition to PRP of the spinal unit is the most comprehensive treatment of the spine and is available in Naples, Fort Myers, Cape Coral and all of Southwest Florida with our treatment clinic located in Estero Florida. Discseel combined with PRP is an effective treatment for back pain and sciatica and a great alternative to spinal fusion surgery.

Resolve Back Pain and Sciatica and Regain Your Function
A Common Cause of Chronic Back Pain & Sciatica = Annular Disc Tears (Leaky Disc Syndrome)
- The spinal disc is made up of an outer layer called the nucleus and a gel-like inner portion called the nucleus.
- When there is a tear in the annulus, the nucleus leaks out causing severe inflammation of the surrounding nerves.
- Leaky disc can cause back and leg pain as well as numbness, tingling and other neurological symptoms in the extremities.
- Annular tears are common and can contribute to further degeneration of the disc and spinal unit. Often, disc tears cannot heal on their own due to poor blood supply to the discs.
Only the Discseel® Procedure is known to stimulate healing of annular tears.
Discseel ® has been proven to provide long-term relieve low back pain and sciatica without surgery.

How Does Discseel ® Procedure Plus PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Treat Low Back Pain & Sciatica?
Discseel is a non-surgical injection based procedure that can accurately diagnose and treat annular disc tears.
- Under precise X-ray guidance, contrast is injected into the spinal discs. Annular tears are identified when the contrast leaks out of the disc.
- Fibrin is injected into the torn discs and seals the tears within minutes, the fibrin then stimulates the healing of the disc over the next 3-12 months.
- After all the discs have been sealed, Dr. Sebastian treats the remaining spinal structures with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to improve strength, stability and health of the whole spinal unit.
- After a brief period of observation, the patient is discharged home to rest. Most patients are up and moving the next day.
- Temporary increase of pain may occur for several days to weeks after the procedure, than gradually symptoms improve. Most patients report full relief of symptoms 3-6 months after the procedure.
